  • 2 Tbs honey Adds a natural sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set it aside.
  3. In a small bowl, combine all rub ingredients: paprika, black pepper, brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and dry mustard.
  4. Place the country-style boneless ribs in a large bowl and sprinkle the spice rub generously over them, tossing to coat.
Baking
  1. Lay the ribs in a single layer on the baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil.
  2. Bake the ribs for 2 hours.
  3. Prepare the glaze by mixing BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl.
  4. After 2 hours, remove the foil and baste the ribs with the glaze. Bake for an additional 30 to 60 minutes until tender and caramelized.
  5. Remove from oven, baste with more BBQ sauce if desired, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the ribs marinate with the rub overnight in the refrigerator. You can use store-bought marinade if short on time. For a crispy finish, broil the ribs for a few minutes at the end.
