Method
Cooking the Chicken
- Start by placing the chicken breasts in a pot and fill it with water until it’s about an inch above the chicken.
- Heat the pot over medium-high until it reaches a boil. Once boiling, cover the pot and reduce the heat to a simmer.
- After about 8 minutes, check the internal temperature; it should read 165°F. Larger chicken breasts may take closer to 15 minutes.
Preparing the Chicken
- After cooking, remove the chicken from heat and transfer it to a cutting board. Allow it to cool slightly, then shred it using a fork.
- Place the shredded chicken back into the pot.
Adding Flavor
- Pour in the buffalo sauce, add the butter, and sprinkle in the Ranch dressing mix.
- Stir everything together until the chicken is well-coated and the butter has melted.
Assembling the Wraps
- Distribute the shredded buffalo chicken mixture evenly among the four tortillas.
- Top each with crumbled blue cheese, drizzling in blue cheese dressing, and adding shredded lettuce.
Wrapping It Up
- Carefully tuck in the sides of each tortilla, then fold the bottom flap over the filling and roll tightly.
- Cut each wrap in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For a milder version, reduce the amount of buffalo sauce or use a mild variety. Consider adding sliced cucumbers or diced tomatoes for extra crunch. Experiment with different tortillas for variety.
