Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-cup Bundt pan with melted butter or nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan set over medium heat, melt the butter completely. Add cocoa powder, water, vanilla extract, and instant coffee. Stir until fully combined, then remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking soda. Whisk well. Pour in the butter and cocoa mixture, stirring until combined.
- Incorporate the eggs and Greek yogurt into the mixture, stirring until fully integrated. If the mixture appears too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of water for a smoother consistency.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan, ensuring it’s evenly distributed. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for at least 40 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Ganache Preparation
- Combine chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each session until melted and smooth.
- Whisk together the melted chocolate mixture, milk, and powdered sugar until fully combined. Stir in sea salt.
Finishing Touches
- Transfer the cooled cake to a wire rack set over a sheet pan. Drizzle the chocolate ganache generously over the top of the cake, allowing it to flow down the sides.
Notes
To ensure even baking, always preheat your oven. Use room temperature ingredients for best results. For more intense chocolate flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate chips. Let the cake cool adequately in the pan to prevent breaking.
