Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Allow it to stand for about 5 minutes until the yeast blooms.
  2. Add the vegetable oil, salt, and the egg to the yeast mixture, mixing gently with a fork.
  3. Gradually add this liquid to the flour, stirring until a rough dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Grease the mixing bowl lightly with vegetable oil, place the dough inside, cover, and let it rise for 1 to 1.5 hours.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/350F. Divide the risen dough into 16 equal parts and roll them into balls.
  2. Place the dough balls into a well-buttered baking pan, spaced about 1 inch apart, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  3. Brush the tops with a beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Finishing Touches
  1. Melt the butter and add pressed garlic and chopped parsley. Stir until fragrant.
  2. Brush the baked rolls generously with the garlic butter mixture.
