- Transfer the crumbles to a mixing bowl, add the melted butter, and combine well.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9X13-inch casserole pan.
Chilling the crust
- Place the pan in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.
Making the filling
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, fold 1 cup of powdered sugar into half of the Cool Whip.
- Fold this mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
Prepare the chocolate layer
- In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding and evaporated milk until thickened.
Assembling the layers
- Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the chilled crust.
- Gently spread the chocolate pudding on top.
- Allow to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Topping
- Fold remaining powdered sugar into the remaining Cool Whip and spread over the chilled dessert.
- Garnish with crumbled Oreos and drizzle with chocolate fudge syrup.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture. For best results, let the dessert chill for a few hours or overnight. Individual servings can be prepared in parfait cups.
