  • 1.5 cups strong rose petal tea Made by steeping 2-3 tablespoons of dried rose petals in 2 cups of boiling water.
  • ⅛ cup gelatin Essential for achieving the gummy texture.
  • 4 tablespoons honey Natural sweetness that complements the floral notes. Maple syrup can also be used.
  • as needed extra rose petals Optional for garnishing.

Method

Preparation
  1. Make the Rose Petal Tea: Steep 2-3 tablespoons of dried rose petals in 2 cups of boiling water. Allow to steep until water cools for richer flavor.
  2. Hydrate the Gelatin: Soak ⅛-¼ cup of cooled rose petal tea with gelatin to ensure it mixes easily.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Warm remaining rose petal tea in a pot on low heat, adding the hydrated gelatin and honey until dissolved. Adjust sweetness as desired.
  4. Prepare Molds: Pour the mixture into silicone molds on a flat tray to avoid spills.
  5. Add Rose Petals: Sprinkle extra rose petals into the molds for decoration before the mixture sets.
  6. Let Them Set: Refrigerate molds for about an hour until gummies are set.
  7. Serve or Package: Pop gummies out of molds and serve or package as gifts.

Notes

Opt for organic, pesticide-free rose petals. You can experiment with flavors like lemon or lavender, and adjust gelatin for chewier gummies. Silicone molds are ideal.
